Newspaper Reading Activity in the Classroom

To develop reading habits and awareness about current affairs, a newspaper reading activity was conducted in the classroom. Students actively participated by reading different sections of the newspaper such as headlines, national news, sports, science, and editorials.

This activity helped students improve their reading skills, vocabulary, and general knowledge. They also learned how newspapers connect classroom learning with real-world events. Some students shared news summaries, while others discussed important topics, which boosted their confidence and communication skills.

Regular newspaper reading encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and informed citizenship. Such activities play an important role in shaping responsible and aware students.

 Teachers’ Day Celebration – Student as Librarian

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, a special and joyful activity was organized in the school where students took the role of teachers for a day.

As part of this celebration, one student acted as the librarian and responsibly managed the library activities. The student issued and circulated books, guided other students, and experienced the duties of a librarian firsthand.

This activity helped students understand the importance of teachers and library staff, while also building a sense of responsibility, discipline, and confidence.

The Teachers’ Day celebration was meaningful and engaging, allowing students to appreciate the efforts of teachers by stepping into their roles.

 Introduction to Entrepreneurship – Class 9

An entrepreneurship session was conducted for Class 9 students to introduce them to the concept of entrepreneurship and its importance in daily life.

Entrepreneurship means starting something new by using ideas, skills, and effort to solve problems or provide services. An entrepreneur is a person who takes initiative, works creatively, and is willing to take risks to achieve goals.

During the class, simple examples of small businesses and startups were discussed to help students understand how ideas can be turned into successful ventures.

The session highlighted how entrepreneurship helps develop confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities among students.

The objective of the class was to motivate students to think innovatively and understand that entrepreneurship can be a future career option.

 Computer Lab Activity – Class 8

Students of Class 7 attended their computer class in the computer lab, where they actively worked on desktop computers.

During the session, students used the Paint application to create drawings and figures. They learned how to use basic tools such as brush, shapes, colors, and eraser, which helped improve their creativity and computer-handling skills.

The activity encouraged hands-on learning and made students more confident in using computers. Overall, the session was engaging and helped students develop both digital skills and creativity.

 Introduction to Entrepreneurship – Class 11

An entrepreneurship session was conducted for Class 11 students to introduce them to the basic concept of entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship means turning ideas into useful products or services by taking initiative and calculated risks. Entrepreneurs are innovators who identify problems and create solutions that add value to society.

To make the concept clear, examples such as Facebook and Flipkart were discussed. Students learned how these companies started with simple ideas and later grew into successful global and national startups.

The session highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in developing creativity, leadership, self-confidence, and self-employment skills among students.

Overall, the class aimed to encourage students to see entrepreneurship as a career option and to think creatively about solving real-life problems.

यात्रा संस्मरण!

 यात्रा संस्मरण : विज्ञान की दुनिया और नागपुर की स्मृतियाँ

​ "शिक्षा केवल किताबों तक सीमित नहीं है, यह बाहरी दुनिया के अनुभवों से भी निखरती है।" 

​राष्ट्रीय आविष्कार अभियान पीएम श्री योजना के तहत हमारे जिला प्रशासन दंतेवाड़ा द्वारा एक अद्भुत शैक्षणिक भ्रमण का आयोजन किया गया। 22 दिसंबर से 25 दिसंबर 2025 तक चले इस कार्यक्रम ने हम विद्यार्थियों को विज्ञान और संस्कृति के नए पहलुओं से रूबरू कराया।

 यात्रा का आगाज़ और रमन विज्ञान केंद्र

​कलेक्टर देवेश कुमार ध्रुव सर और जिला पंचायत सीईओ जयंत नाहटा सर के मार्गदर्शन में हमारा 33 सदस्यीय दल महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर पहुँचा। हमारी पहली मंजिल थी 'रमन विज्ञान केंद्र'। वहाँ का परिसर इतना सुंदर है कि देखते ही बनता है। हालांकि वहाँ जानकारी बोर्ड्स पर मराठी में लिखी थी, लेकिन विज्ञान की भाषा सार्वभौमिक होती है। जिन सिद्धांतों को हम केवल किताबों में पढ़ते थे, उन्हें वहाँ साक्षात 'प्रैक्टिकली' अनुभव करना जादुई था।

 विज्ञान के चमत्कार: न्यूटन के नियम से लेकर तारामंडल तक

​विज्ञान केंद्र में हमने कई प्रयोग देखे:

​न्यूटन का तीसरा नियम: क्रिया के विपरीत प्रतिक्रिया।

​ घर्षण और दोलनकाल: भौतिकी के इन कठिन सिद्धांतों को हमने खिलौनों और मॉडलों के माध्यम से समझा।

​3D शो और तारामंडल: प्रोजेक्ट के माध्यम से सौर मंडल के ग्रहों और उपग्रहों को देखना इतना वास्तविक था कि मुझे अपनी आँखों पर यकीन नहीं हो रहा था।

​इन प्रयोगों ने विज्ञान के प्रति मेरी समझ और जिज्ञासा को कई गुना बढ़ा दिया।

 नागपुर के सांस्कृतिक दर्शन

​विज्ञान के साथ-साथ हमें नागपुर के प्रसिद्ध बौद्ध मंदिर (दीक्षाभूमि) जाने का भी सौभाग्य मिला। वहाँ भगवान बुद्ध की प्रतिमा के दर्शन किए और डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर जी के जीवन, उनके विचारों और उनके ऐतिहासिक भाषणों के बारे में पोस्टर के माध्यम से बहुत कुछ जाना। मैंने कभी सोचा भी नहीं था कि मुझे नागपुर आने का मौका मिलेगा।

​ आभार और निष्कर्ष:

​इस भ्रमण का मुख्य उद्देश्य हम ग्रामीण और आदिवासी क्षेत्र के विद्यार्थियों में वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण, नवाचार और तार्किक सोच को बढ़ावा देना था। कक्षा की चारदीवारी से बाहर निकलकर व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्राप्त करना मेरे लिए जीवन का एक बड़ा अवसर था।

​मैं अपने विद्यालय के प्राचार्य कुलदीप सर, उप-प्राचार्य टी.एल. साहू सर और सभी शिक्षकों का हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करती हूँ। साथ ही, जिला प्रशासन दंतेवाड़ा को धन्यवाद देती हूँ और निवेदन करती हूँ कि भविष्य में भी मेरे जैसे आदिवासी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के विद्यार्थियों को ऐसे अवसर प्रदान किए जाएँ।
